log your ‘office’ day
Idea:
- create appointment in outlook
- create reminder to appear within an hour
- when reminder appear, open the appointment, update what you had did (last hour) & will do (next hour)
- edit reminder to occur again in next hour.
- keep doing for the whole day.
More detail:
- Create appointment in outlook, field that I update:
- Description: I put “1h bucket ”
- Location: up to you, I put “My Desk”
- Start time: put in an hour, I prefer in exact hour eg. 08:00 AM
- End time: does not really matters, up to you.
- Show as: free (so people can still see my calendar as free)
- Reminder: 0 (zero) minutes
- I put some note for my own reminder how to quickly edit this appointment every hour.
- Ctrl+end {goto end line}
- Update what you did (last hour) & going tod0 (next 1 hour) (end-time, duration, Description)
- Sht+tab 4x {goto start time (update for next hours to trigger new reminder)}.
- Alt+S save and close
- Put your day action history here
